An evaluation of a pilot community conferencing program designed to divert young adult offenders convicted of non-violent offences to a conference. The purpose of the conference is to give the offender an opportunity to apologise to the victim, explain the reasons for his/her offence(s) and make some form of restitution to the victim and/or the community. This study measures the satisfaction of both conference participants and key stakeholders with the pilot program.
