Conferences and seminars

Our conferences and seminars aim to unite researchers, policy makers and practitioners to discuss contemporary criminal justice decision making.

Seminars

The aim of the seminar series is for researchers, policy makers and practitioners to come together to discuss research findings and topical issues that bear directly on contemporary criminal justice decision making.

Presenters are typically academics or practitioners working in the field of criminal justice both here and internationally. All share the common goal of working together to better inform government about what works in crime prevention and criminal justice administration.

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the First Nations Peoples of NSW and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future.

Informed by lessons of the past, Department of Communities and Justice is improving how we work with Aboriginal people and communities. We listen and learn from the knowledge, strength and resilience of Stolen Generations Survivors, Aboriginal Elders and Aboriginal communities.

You can access our apology to the Stolen Generations.
