To provide an overview of adult and juvenile re-offending over the longer term in NSW.
Method
Descriptive analysis of data from the NSW Re-offending Database (ROD).
Results
Most offenders convicted in the NSW criminal courts were reconvicted of a further offence within 15 years of their index offence, and this was especially so for juveniles. Those reconvicted tended to be reconvicted for a variety of offences.
