Justice Richard Weinstein

The Honourable Justice Richard Weinstein was sworn-in as Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 1 February 2023. He was a Judge of the District Court of New South Wales from February 2019 until his appointment to the Supreme Court. His Honour studied a Bachelor of Laws at UNSW, graduating in 1991, and was called to the bar in 1993, building a distinguished career as an exemplary mediator. His Honour took silk in 2011. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of New South Wales where he has taught various subjects since 2010. His Honour is lead author of Uniform Evidence in Australia, 4th edition.
